Like any feminist magazine, At The Crossroads has a compelling purpose for her existence. The image on the cover of this issue of our feminist magazine speaks to at least one of our foremost concerns: the plight of our planet and women’s role in altering the course of destruction. In Rebecca Shephard’s painting, the mother, Earth mother cradles her child planet and her strength, we can only hope, is enough to turn the tide of several thousand years of patriarchal abuse.
